Our Services
The initial screening would potentially identify reading complications for students in grade 3 or higher. Further evaluation may be needed.
The Phonological Awareness Screening Test (PAST) is an extension of the initial screening that identifies more specific areas of where a child may struggle.
The reading intervention that will be provided is Orion-Gillingham based using multi-sensory approaches in a structured literacy setting. Each session is 1 hour long, required two sessions weekly. Prices are set at $40 per child two times each week, which will be $80 weekly.

I am the creator and owner of EmpowerEd Reading, LLC. I have a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Elementary Education from William Carey University. I have a Mississippi teaching license and taught at Monticello Elementary School, where I discovered my passion of teaching struggling readers. Because of my new found passion, I decided to further my education to be able to teach in the most effective way possible. The strategies that are used in this program have been proven to make miracles happen!
